Homeland Indonesia is blessed with huge and largest archipelago in the world, certainty with very wide air space, which must be entwined for the greater progress and prosperity of the people of Indonesia.  Air transport is a vehicle for empowerment that can strengthen the relationship between the regions, improve national economy and increase endurance as a nation.  The need for air-transportation must be filled by Indonesian itself, in improving competitiveness for self-reliance in the production and directing the domestic and regional markets. Through R80 Regioprop program, we’re designing and manufacturing regional turboprop aircraft to fill the needs of the market, provide jobs for the youth of the nation, to build a strong network among stakeholders aerospace and revive national aerospace industry. Congratulations and have a good work for Indonesian aerospace industry.

RAI was founded in 2012 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. BJ Habibie to answer the market needs through the development of R80, the New Generation Turboprop Aircraft by relying on innovators and experts who have experiences in aircraft developments.

  • NAM Air
    A subsidiary of Sriwijaya Air, the third domestic largest Airlines in Indonesia, becomes RAI first launching customer to order R80 aircrafts (50 aircrafts as firmed order and 50 aircrafts as optional). NAM Air will operate R80 as a feeder for Boeing 737 which are currently being operated. RAI and NAM Air signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) at 26th September, 2013.
    A private airline that offers the best routes in Kalimantan Island. The name reflects to the Star of Kalimantan as the main air transport operator. KALSTAR becomes our second launching customer, as KALSTAR signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to order R80 aircraft, 15 firmed order and 10 aircrafts as optional at 20th December, 2013.
    An Indonesian private own company, the specialist of turboprops services operator in eastern parts of Indonesia (Papua, Maluku, Kalimantan).  In the years to come, Trigana intends to use R80 to enhance and upgrade their fleet and performance. The signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) to purchase R80 took place on 18th June, 2014 as many as 10 firm orders and 10 option.
      An Indonesian Aircraft operator based in Jakarta and Banjarmasin, giving air transportation services to oil and mining companies, as well as to other parties on charter bases. Aviastar has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to purchase R80s with fix order of 5 units and option of 5 units. The LOI was signed on 1st February, 2017.

Dalam lampiran Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 58 Tahun 2017 tentang Perubahan atas Perpres Nomor 3 Tahun 2016 tentang Percepatan Pelaksanaan Proyek Strategis Nasional, yang ditandatangani pada 15 Juni 2017, disebutkan adanya 55 proyek baru selain hampir 200 proyek yang sebelumnya masuk kategori Proyek Strategis Nasional.

Secara keseluruhan lampiran Perpres itu mencantumkan 248 proyek yang masuk program Percepatan Pelaksanaan Proyek Strategis Nasional, termasuk diantaranya proyek-proyek baru yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah tanah air.

Proyek-proyek baru yang masuk program Percepatan Pelaksanaan Proyek Strategis Nasional itu diantaranya adalah:

1. Jalan Tol Waru (Aloha) – Wonokromo – Tanjung Perak, Surabaya, Jatim, sepanjang 18,2 km;

2. Jalan Tol Batu Ampar – Muka Kuning – Bandara Hang Nadim, Batam, Kepri, sepanjang 25 km;

3. Jalan Tol Sukabumi – Ciranjang – Padalarang, Jabar, sepanjang 61 km;

4.Jalan Tol Bukittingi – Padang Panjang – Lubuk Alung – Padang, Sumbar, sepanjang 80 km;

5. Jalan Tol Yogyakarta – Bawen, DIY dan Jateng, sepanjang 71 km;

6. Pembangunan Jalan Lingar Trans Morotai, sepanjang 231,84 km), Maluku Utara;

7. Jalan Penghubung Gorontalo – Manado, sepanjang 301,7 km;

8. Jalan Palu – Parigi, Sulawesi Tengah, sepanjang 83,6 km;

9. Kereta Api Purukcahu – Bangkuang, Kalimantan Tengah;

10. Pembangunan rel kereta api Kalimantan Timur;

11. Kereta Api Jambi – Pekanbaru dan Jambi – Palembang;

12. Proyek revitalisasi Bandara Tjilik Riwut, Palanga Raya;

14. Pembangunan rumah khusus di wilayah perbatasan secara nasional;

17. Pembangunan Sentra Kelautan dan Perikanan Terpadu, di Talaud, Sulawesi Utara;

18. Proram Industri Pesawat Jarak Menengah N-245; dan

19. Program Industri Pesawat Jarak Menengah R-80 (bersumber dari non anggaran pemerintah dan tanpa jaminan pemerintah).


Libatkan Swasta

Hal utama dalam perubahan Perpres Nomor 58 Tahun 2017 tersebut adalah bahwa pembiayaan dalam pembangunan PSN dapat pula dilakukan melalui non anggaran pemerintah. “Proyek Stategis Nasional yang bersumber dari non anggaran Pemerintah sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1) dikoordinasikan oleh Menteri Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (PPN)/Kepala Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (Bappenas),” bunyi Pasal 2 ayat (4) Perpres Nomor 58 Tahun 2017.

Terkait dengan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah, terhadap lokasi Proyek Strategis Nasional yang tidak berkesesuaian dengan rencana tata ruang kabupaten/kota atau rencana tata ruang kawasan strategis nasional, sesuai Pasal 19 ayat (3), Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang (ATR)/Kepala Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) dapat memberikan rekomendasi kesesuaian tata ruang atas lokasi PSN.

Sedangkan untuk penetapan tanah lokasi PSN, sesuai Pasal 21 Ayat (4), dilakukan oleh Gubernur. “Tanah yang telah ditetapkan lokasinya sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (4)  tidak dapat dilakukan pemindahan hak atas tanahnya oleh pemilik hak kepada pihak lain selain kepada Badan Pertanahan Nasional,” bunyi Pasal 21 ayat (5).

Dalam hal jangka waktu penetapan lokasi dimaksud, sesuai Pasal 21 Ayat (6), telah berakhir dan penyediaan tanah untuk pelaksanaan Proyek Strategis Nasional belum selesai, gubernur memperbaharui penetapan lokasi Proyek Strategis Nasional untuk jangka waktu 2 (dua) tahun.

“Seluruh dokumen yang telah ada sebelum pembaharuan penetapan lokasi Proyek Strategis Nasional sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (6), menjadi dokumen penyediaan tanah untuk Proyek Strategis Nasional sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku,” bunyi Pasal 21 ayat (7).

Adapun dalam rangka penggunaan barang dan/atau jasa dalam negeri, sesuai Pasal 24 ayat (2), Penanggung Jawab PSN dapat bekerja sama dengan badan usaha nasional dalam negeri dan/atau badan usaha asing yang memiliki komitmen dalam pengembangan peralatan dan komponen, sumber daya manusia, dan transfer teknologi yang diperlukan dalam pelaksanaan PSN.
